The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN) has announced the nominees for the 4th edition of NEMCEA 2025 “The Awards.”
The ceremony will take place on September 16th and 17th, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lagos.
The nominees include:
1. Best Overall TV Drama Series: Closets, Reformed Thief, and We Happy People.
2. Best Actor: Victor Ifeanyi Aneme (We Happy People), Gabriel Afolayan (Closets), and Bukumi Odewunmi (All in Pieces).
3. Best Actress: Ronke Odusanya (Closets), Angel Unigwe (All in Pieces), and Marvel Bassey (Sands of Time).
4. Best Short Film: Parting, African Ordeal Explained in 3 Minutes, and Voice of Hope.
5. Best Radio Talk Show: Pathway to Jannah, Wives Round Table Radio Show, and Teen Vibes Express.
6. International Drama Series: Twist of Fate (Zee World), Game of Love (Star Life), Love of My Life (GMA Network), and Velvet – El Nuevo (Telenovela).
7. Best Producer: Adeniji Omirin (All in Pieces), Stella Duru (We Happy People), Kayode Peters(i5ive Series).
8. Best Director: Tijani Teejaystar(Closets), Dayo O. Davies(All in Pieces), Frederick Atigogo(The Last Card).
9. Best Childrens/Teen Show: The Junior Citizens, Wide Awake, Young Scholars.
10. Best Sports Show: Sports Pizza, Celeb 5, EX- SPORTS.
11. Best Entertainment show: Splash9ja, Dance Naija Dance, Oroyi Kan wa.
12. Best Cooking Show: Healthy Meals, Food Clinic.
13. Best Documentary: Industry, Iron Condemn, Esako.
14. Best Health Show Radio: Life and Living, Healthy Living, Health Monitor.
15. Best Online TV Channel: Youth Engage Programme, ATnT 360 TV (Ice Plus Business Network)
16. Best Content Channel: GMA NETWORK, TELENOVELA, ZEE WORLD, STAR LIFE.
17. Best Production Design: La Jefa (Telenovela), Undercover Love(Zee World), Until Money Do us Part (Telemundo), The Evil Eye ( Star Life).
18. Best Technical Quality: La Jefa (Telenovela), Anupama ( Star Life), La Casa de los Famosos ( Telemundo), Twist of Fate (Zee World).
19. Best Online Radio: (Click Naija Online Channel).
20. Best Radio Station: (Radio Lagos).
21. Best TV Station: (Branama Children TV)
22. A feature length film:

NEMCEA 2025 will also honor industry icons, including: Mr. Jimi Odumosu(Industry Pacesetter), Mr. Olu Jacobs(Industry Pacesetter), Mrs. Jibe Ologeh(Luminary Award for Content Creation & Leadership), Ijeoma Onah(Industry Trailblazer), NTA(Good Programming), and Radio Nigeria(Social Impact Programming).
