Tolanibaj, a past Big Brother Naija housemate, has shared her advise for aspiring contestants ahead of the show’s 10th season.
In a video message, she shares valuable advice on how to navigate the Big Brother house and beyond.
She said, “Number one, be yourself. Don’t go in there and be boring. Nigerians are going to hate it. You will be surprised that it will not work in your favour.”
“Dress up every day. Do your makeup every day, girls. Guys, as well, drip every day.” She says that even in a house setting, contestants should dress well. She mentioned the opportunity to attract fashion brands and showcase personal style.
“The third thing on my list is that your housemates are not your friends. You guys are teammates and colleagues.” She emphasizing that true friendships are formed outside the show.
“Make sure you have what you want to do after the show. Plan, don’t depend on that money.” She says that the money might not come at once, so she advises the aspirants to have a solid plan.
“The real show starts after the show. It is what you do after the show.” She says that whether they win or get evicted, the real challenges and opportunities lie after the show ends.
