Wizkid, the Nigerian music artist, has broken a record as the first African artist to exceed ten billion streams on Spotify.
This achievement is a result of his streams across all credits on the platform hitting the 10 billion mark recently. A significant contributor to this achievement is his hit collaboration with Drake and Tyla, which has gained almost 4 billion streams, making it his most streamed song on the platform.
Additionally, his third studio album, ‘Made In Lagos Deluxe,’ has been a huge success, getting over a billion streams and becoming his most streamed project on Spotify. As a lead artist, Wizkid’s most streamed song is ‘Essence,’ featuring Tems, with 333 million streams.
