The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the dates for the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2024 – Second Series.
It was started that the exam will run from October 25 to December 20, 2024 and that this series will utilize a hybrid mode, where multiple-choice questions will be answered directly on-screen, while essay and practical questions will be answered using provided booklets. However the WAEC has provided an option for candidates who may wish to use pen and paper mode for the whole examination.
To accommodate more candidates, the registration period has been extended to October 29, 2024 . It was also announced that a “Walk-in-Candidate” opportunity will be available for those who register 24 hours before their chosen exam paper .Candidates can access the final timetable on the WAEC Nigeria website.
WAEC encourages candidates to utilize their learning resources, including the WAEC e-Study platform, Past Questions and Answers books, and the WAECKonnect platform .These tools aim to support candidates in their preparation and provide a platform for interaction with peers.
