Kellyrae was crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9 yesterday, claiming the whooping N60 million grand prize, an SUV, and other rewards.
The highly anticipated finale aired on Sunday, with Kellyrae emerging victorious over fellow housemates Wanni and Onyeka, who secured the runner-up and second runner-up spots respectively.
“I’m overwhelmed with joy,” Kellyrae exclaimed, shortly after being declared the winner.
This season’s theme, “No Loose Guard,” premiered on July 24, 2024, with 14 pairs of housemates competing for the top prize. However, only one pair and six individual contestants made it to the final.
Kellyrae joins the likes of last season’s All-Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya (Gen Z Baddie), in claiming the coveted prize.
The finale was a star-studded affair, featuring electrifying performances from popular artistes Joeboy and Qing Madi.
According to viewers, Kellyrae, Victoria, and Wanni were the top contenders for the grand prize.
With his win, Kellyrae becomes the latest addition to the BBNaija hall of fame.
