Capacious Farms & Foods Nigeria is organizing an Arts and Essay Contest for Junior Secondary School students aged 11-14 to celebrate World Food Day.
The contest, themed “Feeding Our Future: Innovating for a Healthier World,” will take place from September 16 to October 16, 2024, in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Managing Director, Chi Tola, explained that the contest aims to encourage young students to think creatively about food security, sustainable farming, and agricultural innovation.
Students will have the opportunity to showcase their ideas and talents, with exciting prizes to be won.
The event will feature food exhibitions, showcasing diverse ethnic foods from across Nigeria, arts exhibitions featuring entries from participants, and prize giveaways for winners and runners-up.
The contest seeks to promote farming as a sustainable way of producing extra income and self-dependency.
