Guinness Nigeria is now accepting applications for its 2024 Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme.
This program is designed to support young people by helping them pay for their education. It’s open to students who are currently enrolled in public universities in Nigeria. Students from communities where Guinness Nigeria operates are especially encouraged to apply.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be in your second year of study at a public university, polytechnic, or college of education in Nigeria.
You must also be studying a course in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
If you’re a university or college of education student, you need to have a good academic record, with a minimum grade point average of 3.4 or 3.5. This is equivalent to a second-class upper credit.
If you’re a polytechnic student, you need to have a good grade point average of 3.0, which is an upper credit, in your Ordinary National Diploma (OND). You must also have been accepted into a Higher National Diploma (HND) program.
All applicants will be required to take a test to assess their skills and knowledge. Some applicants may also need to provide a letter of introduction from the Chairman of their Community Development Association, if applicable.
