All is set for the flagship of Beyond the Slate project, a creative development event which focuses on capacity-building, mentorship, and industry exposure for emerging talents in theatre, film, and media. Its the first of its kind initiative that is billed to follow through the career path of the young ones in the Industry.

Beyond the Slate, a new creative development initiative, is proud to announce the launch of its flagship project designed to guide theatre, film, and media graduates toward sustainable and diverse career paths. The launch event, themed “Beyond The Certificate, What Next?”, promises to be a pivotal moment for emerging talents in the Nigerian creative industry.

The exclusive event will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the CEP Entertainment Hub, 8 General Ogomudia, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

The initiative, “Beyond the Certificate: Exploring Diverse Career Paths in Theatre, Film and Media,” aims to illuminate the vast and often-overlooked professional opportunities within the theatre and media sectors. While acting and directing frequently dominate the spotlight, the flagship launch will explore the full spectrum of roles, including management, production, administration, creative branding, legal guidance, and public relations.

Beyond the Slate is committed to a year-round mission of supporting emerging creatives through capacity-building, mentorship, and invaluable industry exposure. The flagship launch serves as the introduction to this comprehensive support system.
