Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is calling on international partners to support the country’s efforts to fight terrorism and violent crimes.

In a post on X, he emphasized that his administration will do everything possible to eradicate terrorism and restore safety to citizens.

President Tinubu said, “We will spare no effort and leave no stone unturned in our mission to eliminate criminals from our society. We urge our allies to stand firmly with us as we amplify our fight against terrorism.”

The President also mentioned the progress made in the past two years and stated that security is a top priority. He expressed gratitude to the armed forces and security agencies for their sacrifices in the fight against terror.

The Tinubu Media Force (TMF) has reaffirmed Nigeria’s sovereignty and stability, calling on the international community to support the country’s reform efforts. TMF National Coordinator, Gbenga Abiola, said that Nigeria is experiencing a rebirth under President Tinubu’s leadership, with significant strides in strengthening national security and stabilizing the economy.

Official data shows that the Nigerian Armed Forces have neutralized over 6,260 terrorists, arrested more than 14,000 suspects, and rescued over 5,300 kidnapped victims. The government has also increased the national defence budget and tripled police recruitment.

Abiola dismissed claims that Christians are being targeted in Nigeria as false and divisive. He emphasized that the government treats all acts of violence as national crimes and remains committed to justice and unity.

A Lagos State lawmaker, Adewale Temitope Adedeji, has commended the Tinubu administration for its efforts to address insecurity and promote economic growth. He urged international partners to support Nigeria’s reform efforts rather than issuing threats.

He said that Tinubu understands the challenges and has strengthened the nation’s security architecture.
